We are just back from a from another wonderful, but admittedly very different CMC and WCBP in Washington, DC. As a hybrid, it was our largest CMC/WCBP ever, with about 25% of the attendees in-person and the rest attending virtually.

Last month, I shared how the CASSS board was reflecting on lessons learned over the past year. Heading in to 2022, the organization is turning its eyes forward.

The second year of the pandemic brought more challenges – from the rapid pace of work to carving out enough personal time. But there have also been opportunities and some important wins.

November means Thanksgiving in the United States. Regardless of where you are, it reminds us there's always something to be grateful for... The pandemic has made life much more challenging over the past year and a half, for everyone.

After a year of re-thinking and re-engineering how we do everything at CASSS - virtual conferences, on-line networking, creating community through a computer screen - we are looking forward to a return to face-to-face conferences in 2022, but with a hybrid option.
