CASSS is excited to announce the winner of the 2026 Bioassays Next-Generation Investigator (NGI) Award. The focus of the Bioassays Symposium is to discuss current perspectives, strategies, and technologies used for bioassays. Next Generation Investigator Awards are an excellent opportunity for graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and early-career industrial scientists to meet, network, and participate in exchanging knowledge with industry peers from across the world, with waived registration and grants to offset travel expenses.

The 2026 award winner is Marshall Davis, Pfizer, Inc.

Marshall Davis, Pfizer, Inc.

Marshall Davis began his career at the University of Washington, focusing on gene regulatory networks in Mycobacterium tuberculosis and their responses to stress, particularly within the environments of macrophages and hypoxic granulomas. In 2022, he joined Seagen, now Pfizer, Inc., to work on potency assay development. With his expertise in gene editing and cell line engineering, Marshall specializes in developing both cell-based and binding assays for release testing, contributing to the advancement of antibody-drug conjugates.
