Typically, by now, CASSS would have announced the number of available Director seats that will open in 2027. No CASSS Directors or Officers will be leaving the Board of Directors at the end of 2026. As part of our nominating and election process, the CASSS nominating committee and later the Board of Directors reviewed the demographics and experience of the current board and noted that there is significant diversity in expertise, geography, and size of company. Thus, it was decided to not add a new Director in 2027. There will therefore be no election in 2026. Several Director seats will become available at the end of 2027, so stay tuned for more information in Summer 2027 on the number of seats that will become available and the characteristics and experience sought by the nominating committee and Board for candidates for these candidates.
