CASSS – Sharing Science Solutions is excited to announce the election of Nina S. Cauchon and J.R. Dobbins to the Board of Directors. CASSS board members are elected by the Associate Directors of the organization, a group of volunteers who have contributed significantly to the association.
Reflecting on why she chose to seek a seat on the board, Cauchon believes, “From inception, CASSS has long played a vital role in bridging science, innovation, and global regulatory perspectives to help bring important medicines to patients. Its greatest strength is the diverse scientific community it has built, and it is essential that CASSS continues educating and engaging the next generation of leaders while expanding global regulatory participation and adapting to emerging technologies and modalities. I am motivated to contribute my regulatory, technical, and global leadership experience to help ensure CASSS remains an agile and impactful organization for the future”.
J.R. shares why CASSS is important to the future, “CASSS plays a critical role in advancing global knowledge sharing at the intersection of science and regulation, and it’s important that we continue to evolve alongside the industry. I am passionate about engaging the next generation of members by meeting them where they are and adapting CASSS’ approach accordingly, as well as sustaining the strong regulatory engagement that has been foundational to CASSS’ success. Looking ahead, I believe CASSS must remain at the forefront of innovation by expanding how we support emerging modalities and technologies. Initiatives such as the AAV Virtual Summit and increased focus on bioconjugates demonstrate how CASSS can test new models and continue shaping the future of bioproduct development”.
