The CGTP Pre-Conference Short Course takes place on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 09:00-17:00 EDT at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center and is offered in-person only. The morning session on "Fundamentals of an Investigational New Drug (IND)"" focuses on the fundamentals of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application, including the types of preclinical and CMC data required to support a filing. The afternoon session on "New Drug Development for CGT: Challenges and Strategies During Development Manufacturing" feature case studies, highlighting common challenges and practical strategies encountered during development and manufacturing. We encourage students, post-docs, and early-career professionals to participate in this entry-level opportunity.
The Cell & Gene Therapy Products (CGTP) Symposium takes place on June 9-11, 2026. You do not need to be registered for the Symposium to participate in the Short Course. We highly encourage attendees to participate in both the Symposium and Short Course to maximize their CGTP learning experience.
