Cell & Gene Therapy 2019: Student Travel Grants

CASSS is pleased to provide a limited number of student travel grants for PhD students and post-docs for Cell & Gene Therapy Products: Manufactuing, Quality and Regulatory Considerations (CGTP 2019). Selected award winners will be required to write a synopsis of the symposiumthat will be posted on the website for general information. PhD students or post-doctoral fellows conducting research in academia or industry throughout the world are eligible.


Why should you apply? 

CASSS CGTP 2019 is a new symposium that presents a truly unique opportunity for attendees to interact with key industry thought leaders and discuss topics such as current strategies, new technologies and regulatory practices for cell & gene therapy products. In addition, attendance by regulatory representatives from the US FDA, Health Canada and various European agencies will encourage active discussion to explore how to continue to adapt concepts applied to other biologics and how to establish novel approaches where they are needed for this diverse array of innovative products.

Please be prepared to submit a letter requesting consideration for the grant, proof of studentship or post-doc status, and letter of recommendation from your supervisor all in PDF form. Application for a travel grant does not release you from the obligation to register.


What are the requirements to apply?

All applicants must provide the following with their application:
• A letter requesting consideration for the grant
• 
Proof of student status at a university / post-doc status at an industry affiliation
• Recommendation from you supervisor
• The ability to write a synopsis of the symposium

The deadline for applications is March 29, 2019.
