Sample Preparation Techniques in Proteomics: Current Status and Future Prospects
Sri Bandhakavi, Bio-Rad Laboratories
Brett Phinney, University of California, Davis
Ewa Witkowska, University of California, San Francisco
The enormous complexity of the protein and peptide samples used in proteomics studies make sample preparation and fractionation techniques a key element for successful outcomes in proteomics experiments. This seminar and workshop will bring together three experts in the field to review and evaluate the various approaches and techniques for sample preparation in discovery and quantitative proteomics.

About the CASSS Bay Area Separation Science Forum:
CASSS began as a local, non-profit chromatography discussion group in the SF Bay Area. Although its offerings have now grown to include multiple North American and international scientific symposia and boasts members from around the globe, CASSS still provides local educational and networking opportunities for separation scientists in Northern California. The CASSS Bay Area Separation Science Forums are your opportunity to meet others who understand what you do, enjoy a meal, and exchange new ideas.
